Showing Up and Being Ready

Are you ready?  I mean are you ready for anything right now this minute to make a difference, change, or to do anything?  Many today are still in that wait and see mode, even though it is the beginning of the new year and you should have your goals and plans set and you should be working on accomplishing things not waiting for them.  I see this often in the people that I talk with on a daily basis as it relates to coaching and developing and changing to improve.  It is so easy to be in a routine that keeps you at the same place at the same level for as long as you will continue to follow whatever routine you set.

What I have learned over the the last two years being on my own and working with others creating their dream is that being fluid and ready to move at a moments notice is what can cause the universe to shift to meet your needs.  I’ve learned that putting your needs out there and asking for assistance is okay.  Dreaming big and setting up a schedule not with the things you want to do daily but with the big events you want to happen in your life can generate a wave of energy and motivation that doing the same thing everyday would not generate normally.  I’m a leader by nature, so I know that not everyone can take charge and make things happen or persuade others to follow their dreams.  Something though that everyone can do is to show up everyday to support the dreams and ideas they want to come to fruition.  That act of showing up should go beyond just following that routine, but it should be about putting in whatever energy you have towards progress that will get you further than where you were the day before with those goals and dreams you have.  In all honesty it is that simple.  It’s not rocket science but it does take a commitment.  Why?  Because everyday, there will be something that will try to hold you back, deter you from the direction you were on, throw a wrench that hurts you, or something else that will make things difficult.  That is what life is.  Even though that may happen, being on a mission even if just to accomplish one thing daily can make a difference.  If you want to achieve more try to complete two things daily and build from there.

What I am encouraging is that no matter where you are in your life, no matter what you have in front of you, or what you don’t have, you in yourself have the ability to accomplish something amazing everyday.  It doesn’t matter what others say, it matters how you feel and where you want to be and what you are going to do about it.  I absolutely compelled to share this with others because I hear so much negativity about what is not going right or how others don’t do what they are supposed to.  I firmly believe that we all have the power to impact and change what is around us and that we as individuals can make an impact.  Even if it is only for ourselves, we should work on that daily.  It is through the effort that we put forth that we can make a difference for the community, the country, and the world.  Are you ready to step out today and to do something, do anything?  I know I am, I hope to see you out there on that journey as I’m ready for the time of my life and 2012 is going to be another wild ride.  I can see that wave coming and its going to roll!!! Happy New Year and see you on the other side!!!
